This is what has been running down last weekend 29th Dec just days before the new year. Duraath and Wightset had organized a drag race of 22km distance. Pretty rad slick smooth line of tarmac!
After a long while of no updates and new entry on this blog, here is a new event by Wightset which going to happen on this 29th December in Johor Bahru City. A drag race for all the fixed gear track bike enthusiast covering 27km. This is serious business and no colorful fixie are allowed. Be proper!
Few of the southern boys went up for the race of Tales From The Crit in Singapore and did well mostly placing in the top 15. Great event and great race! We meet up with a lot of folks from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and also Jakarta.
A lot of riders crashed at the turns but none are very serious injuries. Better luck next time for our Wightset team.
Champion - Peter Pelani
2nd Place - Apis J
3rd Place - Faz Adhili

SFXD x Starbucks Johor Bahru joined together to make a charity event for the orphans of Sekolah Amal Baitul Maghrifah, Bandar Baru Uda. We held a demo about fixed gear, teach them basic knowledge about bikes and also we helped clean up the school as we call it here in Malaysia as ‘gotong-royong’.
These kids are lucky but not as lucky as we who have parents of ourselves. Certainly they will grow up to become special persons. Insha’allah.
